Advanced Search
Using the advanced syntax will allow you to better tailor search results to your needs. Enclosing a set of words with double quotes represents a phrase and will only find results that match the words in that exact sequence. You can perform more sophisticated searches by using boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT). You can substitute AND with (+) plus sign and NOT with (-) minus sign. For constructing more complicated queries you can enclose words/phrases within parentheses. Here are some example search queries:

How often do you successfully find needed information via an Internet Search Engine?
Behind inforobot.com web site lies a powerful Internet Search Engine. It constructs search queries from the word(s) or phrase(s) you entered in the search field in the upper right corner of every page. You can perform the most sophisticated and detailed searches by entering complex expressions in the search field. The underlying search engine will parse the expression and produce a SQL query which in turn is fed into database containing all the information. To learn how this is done see the webmaster's: Search Engine Project
